Delivering CDM Training at the Health and Safety Executive, Norwich

Last week, Carly Hughes delivered a training session at the Health and Safety Executive offices in Norwich.

The session focused on the role of the Principal Contractor under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) and how these responsibilities are applied in practice on construction projects.

Drawing on real-world experience, the presentation included practical examples, site photographs, and insights drawn from experience working across a range of construction projects.

The session also encouraged open discussion around duty holder responsibilities, and concluded with an engaging Q&A, allowing attendees to explore key challenges and scenarios in more detail.
